Act on Truth

I’d love to see the same hunger, desire and passion for the Lord here in America that I’ve seen in other countries. It’s not because God hasn’t poured out His Spirit on America. It’s because America’s so preoccupied with all its DVD’s, televisions, video games, shopping, and thinking of self. Our nation spends more on entertainment, sports, and related leisure items than the gross national product of many countries. Lusting for all kinds of things, we just don’t have time for God! God isn’t holding back he is trying to work within us. It’s just that we aren’t desiring him the same as he desires us to seek him. He told believers to go out and heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out demons. Instead of doing what he commanded us to do. We’re asking God to do what he told us to do. God has already released his power. It’s in us. Now we must release it to others. God has already placed the same power that raised Jesus from the dead inside of us! It’s not time for him to pour out his His Spirit. The Lord already has, and he dwelling inside every born again believer. We just need to start speaking the truth and encouraging others to act on it. You don’t need to pray for Gods power to be poured out its already manifested. But you must first start believing, going and doing. As you do the signs will follow!

Godly Wisdom V’S Knowledge

As I speak to others whom are Christians and those whom are non believers. I noticed recently something that God showed me which is the difference between knowledge & Wisdom. As a Christian who has been so focused on learning scripture, understanding it, mediating and praying. Helping others and being intentional and having a Christ like heart. I know this was a lesson God wanted me to learn within myself and to be cautious about in others. Proverbs is scripture all about Wisdom and today I listened to a sermon about Wisdom. It drove it home even further and I understood what God was teaching me and showing me. How many Christians would profess to have Wisdom? would it be Wisdom of there own self or Godly Wisdom? Lets look at the difference…Godly Wisdom is based on Gods word..what we read in Scripture. Knowledge is based on our own thinking with nothing to back it up. Lets look at Proverbs 2:1-7 1 My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, 2 turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, 3 and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, 4 and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, 5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. 6 For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He holds victory in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless, When we read Gods word and understand, apply his word in our lives then we gain the wisdom the Lord gives us (Proverbs 2:6). Look at how many false prophets we have in this day and age. So many are being fooled and duped to believe that God is all love no wrath. They tell you what you want to hear in order for you to continue to watch there bank accounts flourish. Yes God is Love but if we are being obedient and diligent in our walk with our Lord, we will know that God is wrath also. Look around us in the world Gods judgement is upon us! Part of knowing the difference in a false prophet and understanding Gods love and Wrath is learning and gaining the Wisdom he has provided for us in his word. It is written in Proverbs 9:10- 10 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy one is understanding. For every action there is a reaction. When we raise our children aren’t there consequences if they don’t obey us? Well our Heavenly Father has showed us in his words there our consequences for ALL of us believers and non believers when we aren’t obedient. When I look at the world and our government and what is going on today my Wisdom based on Gods word is they aren’t using Godly Wisdom they are serving self and there own thinking based on no facts just there thinking which is Human Wisdom. When we see what is going on and how God has been taken out of schools, prayer in schools, Pledge of the allegiance. Our own President goes out of his way as to NOT mention God and to make sure anything that represents our father is covered up. He has allowed gay marriage to be legalized. President Obama, does not know what Godly Wisdom is. He has gone out of his way to be disobedient to God. Lets look at the Church’s today. Are’nt we suppose to be able to go to church to worship and be in fellowship with others? The pastor whom stands before us is not perfect but took an oath to be a teacher of Gods word. The attendance of churches around the world has declined because it seems in my opinion they don’t care anymore about what God states in his word. They are to busy wanting to appease others thinking instead of using there Godly Wisdom that God has given in his word about his love and wrath. Many of us have been taught that when in a situation you need counsel in to go to your church..your pastor and speak with them but you must be cautious who you seek counsel with today. If I seek counsel with someone or give an opinion about something or direction it needs to be with Wisdom from Gods word and NOT based on what I feel or think. Only based on Gods word. When I was living in the world I was living my life in accordance to self was like a roller coaster ride with more twist and turns it was absolutely exhausting. I failed my children by not raising them in a Christian home and with the Wisdom of God. But when I made that decision to stop serving self and serve God my whole thinking changed based on God’s word his desires for me not my own. When family, friends come against me and throw me being a Christian around as though its a dirty word or try to use my past against me or to justify there own doing I am empowered yet humbled in calling upon scripture. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 ). I have been cleansed from my past it doesn’t excuse my actions but no longer will I be held in bondage over it. But because of the Wisdom I have been given in Gods word I need to hold myself accountable by my actions and what I speak so that I can do my best to be obedient and to be a good servant. When those come against me today I am learning to just pray for them but it is not for me to argue nor debate with them. Proverbs 29:11 A fool gives full vent to his spirit, but a wise man quietly holds it back. It can be so discouraging as a New Christian so much going on in today’s world. Many professing to be a Christian yet excepting that it’s alright to live together without being married,to be gay, curse, disrespect there parents. Preachers day after day abusing there position in the church. False prophets leading people to glorify self and flourish there own bank accounts. Murders, Our president and government leading us to poverty and complete disgrace. Why is all this happening? Because society is based on self knowledge instead of the Wisdom of God ..HIS WORD. I can remember those days of self knowledge and it is not based on fact is based on ones self opinion and there were many wrong decisions. God does love us and his word is written. It does not change with the times. His words his law stays the same. We can say we believe in God but are we using the wisdom he has given us in his word or are we to busy caught up in our own desires which is our own knowledge not the Wisdom of God. I am not perfect but I do pray and seek that Wisdom of God and understand each day that it is a gift from him to each of us. God Bless By, Melissa Parker

I listened to this video and it is not biblical in the manner Oprah Winfrey feels.  Our God is not based on a feeling.  Lets look at this based on scripture.

John 3:16-19 “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

                              Acts 16:31b “…’Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved…’

We will not find in scripture where it says “Feel in the Lord Jesus” because it’s not based on our own feelings.  It is based on believing and our Faith.

As a New Christians many false prophets are teachers that are wolves in sheep clothing. Jesus said in his sermon on the Mount of olives to his disciples “DO NOT BE DECEIVED for many shall come in my name and shall bare false witness”
